This work reimagines Alice in Wonderland through the lens of my Rolling Stones 50th anniversary series. Alice becomes a pop icon, surrounded by vibrant colors and playful forms, with the band’s signature tongue motif integrated into the composition.
The piece explores the sense of rebellion, curiosity, and transformation shared by both the fantastical world of Wonderland and the irreverent spirit of the Rolling Stones. Just as Alice navigates a world full of surprises and rules to challenge, the tongue symbolizes boldness, individuality, and the audacious energy of rock.
Through this visual language, I translate the iconic narrative into a contemporary pop artwork, where cultural symbolism, color, and graphic immediacy collide to create a dynamic, almost musical rhythm on the canvas.
